The studies recorded in this dissertation were begun and largely carried out in the Department of Anatomy, University of Missouri Medical School, under the direction of Professor Franklin P. Johnson. They were completed in the Department of Anatomy, Harvard Medical School, as a special course under Professor Frederic T. Lewis. This thesis gives a detailed description of the parts of the urogenital system of the 20mm. pig embryo, including individuals sections on the mesonephros; ureter and kidney; genital glands; mullerian duct; urogenital sinus, allantois, and genital tubercle.
