The thesis focuses on understanding the role of hybrid nanostructure on the macroscopic properties of thin films. The work has clearly demonstrated that a balance of molecular architecture, nanoscale assembly and interfacial characteristics is essential to control the surface properties and achieve highly effective thin films.
