Preparing your manuscript for publication is easy. Chose from the publishing options below, then send us your manuscript in PDF format and complete the Submission Form. You will be prompted to upload your manuscript electronically. The publishing process takes several weeks, but you will be contacted shortly after we receive all your materials.
- Combine your English language manuscript into a single computer file.
- Place all your graphics and format exactly the way it should appear in print.
- Save manuscript file in a common word processing program.
- Write the abstract in a separate text file.
- Complete and fax the Publishing Agreement and Signature page*.
- Complete Submission Form and send electronically.
- Upload manuscript file.
*NOTE: "Signature Page" is a document containing the signatures of your advising committee confirming approval of your thesis. If your institution does not use a document like this, include your diploma or certificate of graduation.
Timeline
(Publishing process takes 6 to 9 weeks depending on how well the manuscript is prepared)- 1st week
Confirmation of all materials required to begin the publishing process (see Submission Form.) - 2nd to 3rd week
Setup book interior (arrange for typesetting if necessary.) - 3rd to 4th week
Setup cover design (arrange for cover design if necessary.) - 4th to 5th week
Post PDF proof for author's approval. - 5th to 6th week
Paperback setup. - 6th to 7th week
Send files for set-up at regional reproduction and distribution centers. - 7th to 8th week
Final edition setup complete. Author may order pre-publication copies. - 8th to 9th week
Listing appears at Amazon.com. Book available through Ingram Book Company and retail booksellers. Publication process complete. Title is ready to promote.
