Abstract
This project is a study of the attempt to reform the IMF with the purpose of legitimizing the fund. It analyses the processes of the 2010 Quota and Governance Reform and how it has been affected by the distribution of power within the IMF’s governance structure. The project argues that power relations within the IMF have shaped the content of the reform as well as allowed the current gridlock in which the reform process is stuck.
