Abstract

This thesis focuses on my personal struggle with the eating disorder Anorexia. In this thesis I explore my disease and its root causes, namely my family environment. I explore the psychological phenomenon known as “Father Hunger” and its links to Anorexia. The aim of this thesis is to provide a cathartic exercise as well as come to better understand the environment that allowed for my disease to blossom, as well as a better understanding of my father as a person.
