This thesis focuses on how voice acting supports the animated character performance from the production aspect. The history of sound animation and animation production pipeline will be introduced in order to understand how voice actors play their roles in an animation production. Moreover, this thesis will analyze the qualities of voice and physical movements from voice actors to demonstrate how it can be applied to animated characters.
