Abstract

This thesis is exploring what it means to be an antihero, in film, seeking revenge and what it takes to keep the audience on the protagonist's side. There are rules that need to be followed so that the protagonist does not evolve into a villain while enacting their revenge on the antagonist. This thesis delves into the depths of how far they can go before crossing that line. Keywords: revenge, antihero, film, villain, protagonist
