Today’s culture in the United States tends to focus on youth. This focus on youth has been to the detriment to other ages of the population, specifically the elderly. In many instances we have cast them away from society placing their living environments on the furthest outskirts of city regions and urban situations. Aging is a resource, not a liability. The goal is to reestablish the important role the elderly play within a community through the reconstitution of their living environments.
