"The preparation and characterization of three new Schiff base complexes of [N,N'-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)-o-phenylenediamine] Nickel (II), [N,N'-bis(salicylidene)-3,4-diaminotoluene] Nickel (II) and Copper (II) Schiff base complex produced form 4(5) -Imidazolecarboxaldehyde and ⁷-alanine are reported. The X-ray crystal structures of these three complexes reveal that <1> the two nickel complexes are tetradentated in a square-plane environment and the copper complex is pentadentated in a roughly square-pyramidal environment. <2> All the three complexes show 1:1 stoichiometry" – Abstract, leaf iii.
