Abstract
The temperatures of the paramagnetic-antiferromagnetic phase transition for mixed crystals of CuC12 and CuBr2 have been measured by a mutual inductance bridge method. Both substances are monoclinic, with similar crystal structures and crystal parameters. In the mixtures, substitution of halide ions is obtained, which was expected to affect the indirect interaction causing the phase transitions. [...]
