Abstract
"In mining and milling operations it is necessary that the assays be known as soon as possible, also that these results are more accurate than the sampling or the operation that produced the samples. This means that both speed and accuracy must be considered when selecting a method for the analysis of samples" – Technical Methods of Analysis, p. 1.
