Abstract
The experimental work which forms the basis of this discussion represents the first report of a long term investigation under the direction of Dr.Boris P. Babkin. It is a privilege to acknowledge his able and enthusiastic direction, his keen and logical criticism as well as his active participation in many of the experiments.
