Abstract

The discovery of a large copper-zinc ore-body on the Waite-Amulet property in Northwestern Quebec has been an important development of 193S. This deposit, known as the lower 'A' ore-body, is interesting not only because of its large size but also because of the possibility of discovering similar deposits near it. The author believes that a brief description of the mineralogy and the rock alteration about the ore-body, as disclosed by the diamond-drill core, is of interest. [...]
