Abstract
A new dynamic equilibrium between flood prevention, ecology, energy supply and recreation. This is amplified with the transformation of a nuclear plant into a centre of landscape connection. The nuclear plant is located on the Rheinschanzinsel along the Rhine together with a retention polder build for floods. It will be shut down in 2019, together with the 16 other nuclear plants in Germany.
