Abstract
A new interchange railway station is introduced within the ex-industrial site of Sarajevo. Placing attention on the spirit of the place -the existing and lost values- the re-design of the station zone aims to enhance the qualities of space and add new meanings to it. The station acts as a key development that would generate social and economic growth. Place-making will contribute to the sustainability and diversity of a forgotten area in the city of Sarajevo.
