Abstract

The thesis starts with the central observations of changing Indian newlineLifestyles culture and with the growing disturbance of its mother nature The newlinegrowing urbanization and its changing consumption patterns have created a newlinenoticeable change in its environment Keeping these environmental changes newlineas the main theme of the study the study focuses on knowing the consumer newlineawareness on environmental issues and its impact on green product purchase newlinedecision This study as documented in five chapters The first chapter newlinedescribes the central theme of the research and explains the problem newlinestatement need objectives hypothesis and scope of the study in the present newlineand future sense The second chapter reviews various definitions concepts newlineand the literature related to the study area In the third chapter a clear newlinedescription is given on the research design under which the present study was newlinecarried out The fourth chapter portrays the results of the analysis, drawing newlinespecific inferences of the study Finally the fifth chapter states the newlineconsolidated findings of the study with relevance to the objectives and newlinehypothesis of the study and is implications are presented newlineThe social shift of environment has taken centre stage in the media newlinePolitics and work place and also among our family members Most of the newlineenvironmental crises that we face today will continue to have impact on our newlinelives indefinitely many with an increasing sense of urgency In light of these newlinedisturbing developments in our environment many individuals and newlinebusinesses have begun to make behavioral changes to reduce their impact on newlinethe natural world newline newline%%%appendix p204-224, reference p225-235.
