Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks normally consists of a large number of newlinedistributed nodes with one or more sensors embedded processors and low newlinepower radios which are normally battery operated These networks are widely newlineused in environment monitoring space exploration physical detection newlinemilitary scouting manufacturing industry automation etc The main objective newlineof a sensor node is to sense or monitor some physical quantity in a newlinesurveillance area which will be deployed in such a way that it covers the newlinecomplete area without leaving any significant area or void with sufficient newlinedensity The sensor nodes can be deployed deterministically at prespecified newlinelocations or distributed randomly in the surveillance area newline newline%%%Reference p.140-148
