Abstract

In recent years power quality has become a major concern Survey newlinesuggests that roughly 92 of power quality problems are voltage sag voltage newlineswell and harmonics Voltage sag and voltage swell is a major concern in the newlinedistribution system and are due to faults at a remote bus Non linear loads newlinegenerate harmonic currents which causes poor power quality newlineTo overcome these problems Dynamic Voltage Restorer DVR newlinecan be used to compensate the voltage sag voltage swell and harmonics newlineDVR is the most effective custom power device in the power distribution newlineSystem In this research DVR is used to investigate the voltage sag voltage newlineswell and harmonics compensation by experimental and simulation newlinetechniques newlineFor experimental analysis dual PQ theory proportional integral newlinecontroller and hysteresis controller were used For simulation analysis newlineproportional integral controller synchronous reference frame controller newlinehysteresis controller dual PQ theory particle swarm optimization and fuzzy newlinecontroller techniques were used newline newline%%%appendix p161-163, reference p 164-169.
