Abstract

Data Acquisition DAQ system plays an important role in the field newlineof industrial and home automation system The idea behind the DAQ is to newlinesample the data which represents Real time conditions and to convert it to newlinedigital form in which computers and an embedded processor can be used to newlinemanipulate it DAQ is the process of acquiring the Real world signals such as newlinea Voltage Current Temperature Pressure Humidity Gas pH value into the newlinecomputer for processing analyzing, storage and sharing of data In order to newlineoptimize the characteristics of a system in terms of performance handling newlinecapacity and cost the relevant embedded system can be combined together newlineRecently rapid advancement in the embedded system technologies has newlineresulted in easy and efficient development of complex control applications newlineThe new requirements of modern Real time distributed supervision and newlinecontrol systems such as more flexibility and interoperability have motivated newlinethe use of software intensive solutions both in the academic field and in newlineindustries The hardware implementation of the DAQ system allows high newlinespeed processing unit without the need of expensive general purpose newlineprocessors as in the case of the computer based DAQ system DAQ system newlinemay use both hard and soft processors with or without an RTOS based on newlinedemand newline newline newline%%%appendix p173-175, reference p176-187.
