Abstract

The present study aims to investigate a cost effective approach to newlineconvert renewable agricultural residues into ecofriendly green chemicals newlineXylanase is the one which possesses several significant industrial newlineApplications Xylanase EC 3 2 1 8 hydrolyzes xylo oligosaccharides into newlineD xylose and required for complete hydrolysis of native cellulose and newlinebiomass conversion In this study Xylanase producing fungal strains were newlineisolated from fouled soil Fifty fungal species were isolated from the fouled newlinesoil around an oil refinery and screened for the production of xylanase newlineenzyme by enrichment culture techniques The spore morphology of the newlinefungal isolate was analyzed by light and Scanning Electron Microscopy newline SEM newline newline%%%reference p164-189.
