The case in this project is the emergence of a politico-economic venture over the past decade, known as the business case for gender equality. It proposes that ‘investments’ made in women are not just good for women, but it is ultimately good business. The focus in this project will be to critically interrogate what is truly to be won or lost in this merge of the burden for gender equality with the ‘business case’ and the financial benefits of corporations. This will be analysed in relation to classic and current trends caused by Globalization within Feminism and with International Politics (or political economy) drifts.
