This project is prepared to explore how the specified group of RUC students between the ages 20-25, understand and comprehend the representation of Muslims in the video workshop project “Salaam”. A focus group interview was conducted to examine the different perspectives. The questions were constructed according to Henrik Juel’s “Communicative Functions” in order to explore the narrative aspects of the video. For the analysis of the focus group interview, ideas in Kim Schrøder’s paper titled “Reception Analysis” was applied to seize an understanding of the variety of perceptions.
