This study focuses on analytical methods for the prediction of vane separator efficiency and aims to enhance such methods with the implementation of geometrical variations (channel), spatial orientation (in flow- and gravity field) and additional physical phenomena (velocity profile, droplet distribution, re-entrainment). The resulting model is validated experimentally.
